World Alzheimer’s Day

World Alzheimer’s Day seeks to highlight the difficulties faced by people living with dementia and the role of their carers. Events are taking place all over the world to mark the day. Here in the UK, special ‘Memory Walks’ are being held up and down the country throughout September. Walks range from one mile to 26 miles. Three Insurance-Related Things to do Before Jetting Off

Before you jet off on your next holiday, just check you’ve got all your insurance in place. Below are three insurance-related points to check before you leave.

Packing Your EHIC

However, you should be warned that an EHIC is not a replacement for travel insurance as it won’t cover the costs for things such as repatriation and sometimes even rescue efforts.

The Need For Cover

I know what youre thinking who would want a life insurance policy as a Christmas gift?  Can you just imagine the look on your spouses or kids faces when they open a present and it is a life insurance policy?  And to make matters worse, their present has your name on it.

Making sure your family, upon your death. woul

Avoid Holiday Overeating

1. Don’t arrive on an empty stomach!Although you may be tempted to skip lunch so you can splurge on dessert, don’t! Have a bowl of cereal, vegetable sticks, fresh fruit, a salad, a handful of nuts, or a small sandwich before you arrive. Skipping breakfast or lunch may cause you to overeat and consume more calories than you would if you had eaten something beforehand.2. Offer to bring a healthy dish. This strategy not only provides you with a good menu option, but your host will greatly appreciate the help.
